The iconic Domino Sugar sign adds a red neon glow to the Baltimore skyline every night.

As one of the largest sugar companies in the United States, Domino is the primary reason why the Port of Baltimore has been consistently ranked among the top U.S. ports for imported sugar. The company is a key private marine terminal partner of the MDOT Maryland Port Administration (MDOT MPA) and has helped keep the Port’s supply chain moving forward for almost 100 years.

“Domino is a worldwide recognized brand,” said MDOT MPA spokesman Richard Scher. “We are very happy to have them as a key contributor to the Port of Baltimore”.

Domino is the Ports largest bulk importer — refining, packaging and shipping sugar at a rate of six million pounds per day.
